Paul Ross III, M.D., F.A.S.M.B.S

Dr. Ross is board certified by the American College of Surgeons. He graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed his general surgery residency at Spartanburg Regional. As bariatric medical director and primary bariatric surgeon, Dr. Ross has performed more than 1,100 weight loss surgeries.

Dr. Ross is dedicated to helping patients regain healthy, active lives. He is a member of the South Carolina Medical Association and the American College of Surgeons. He is a member and a fellow of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and is actively involved in the Bariatric Society of the Carolinas.

Jason M. Johnson, D.O., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Johnson is board certified by the American College of Surgeons. He graduated from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in general surgery at Spartanburg Regional. He then completed a fellowship in bariatric and laparoscopic surgery at the Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia.

Having recently joined Spartanburg Regional Weight Loss Services, Dr. Johnson is seeing new patients. He is experienced in performing comprehensive procedures related to weight loss surgery, including adjustable gastric band, gastric bypass, revisional bariatric surgery, and the newest weight loss procedure - sleeve gastrectomy. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
